The GT-30RA from NoiseKen is an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Gun that is designed to conduct ESD immunity tests. It complies with EN/IEC61000-4-2 discharge waveform parameters for both air and contact discharge modes. This ESD gun should be connected to the Noiseken’s Electrostatic Discharge Simulator (ESS-S3011A/ESS-B3011A/ESS-L1611A) and provides an output voltage from 0.2 to 30 kV (with ESS-S3011A/B3011A). It features a 150-pF standard energy storage capacitor, a standard discharge resistor of 330-ohm and a charging resistor of 43 Mohm. The ESD gun is available in an enclosure that measures 83.4 x 217.2 x 189.3 mm (weighs 1.3 kg) with a cable measuring 2 m in length and is ideal to generate static electricity for conducting the electrostatic discharge immunity test.
